Gameplay Improvements Star In The Nhl 11 League Game

The nhl 11 league is another winner from EA Sports. As hockey fans know it is the latest video game release in the NHL series of EA Sports. The North American cover athlete of this series title is Jonathan Toews, young captain of the Stanley Cup winning Chicago Blackhawks.

The continued evolution of EA Sports video games is an accepted standard that is also reflected in new innovations to be enjoyed in NHL 11. The game is more dynamic, richer, with enhanced realism. Some modes have enhancements and a new mode adds another level of play. The first inclusion of the Canadian Hockey League adds more players and teams for gamers to play with. This title is for use in PS 3 and Xbox 360.

NHL 11 has all the same game modes of the previous title. The new mode is the Ultimate Team mode. The new mode must be played online. In this mode, players build a team using cards. The choice of some 4,000 players in different leagues offers a good variety to choose from. The assembled team will battle other players teams. When you create your own hockey Ultimate Team, it will participate in the Ultimate Hockey League. You will play through the one month season in single-player matches or by entering various tournaments to determine playoff rankings. The league cycle will have a pre-season, regular season, post-season playoffs, as well as an off-season. Quality of performance in regular season will determine which playoff brackets amongst the Amateur, Pro, or Elite will be joined. Each month starts a new cycle. Players who do well in the post-season are rewarded with banners and logos. In the off season, all players will get a Free Agent Pack and a Draft Pack. Chemistry plays an important role in the Ultimate Team mode. Players who play together in real will play better together. The combination of player types, and if the player is at their natural position, also impacts the chemistry element.

Over 200 game play changes make this game, a more authentic feel. The new real-time physics engine is the biggest change. It makes every match more realistic and unpredictable. It replaces the old animation system. The unpredictability of real games is more realized in its virtual version. The new faceoff system further enhances realism that makes this version a greater delight to play.

Greater depth and diversity is added with the first appearance of the Canadian junior league in this series. Adding this prestigious junior league is a EA Sports coup. Playing in the the Memorial Cup of this junior competition will be a new opportunity. The three regional members have 60 teams between them. With its virtual presence in this ice hockey series, junior ice hockey has an ambassador in the virtual world. Inclusion of junior players likely to be seen in the NHL later will raise understanding of junior hockeys role in enriching the professional ranks.

Already a best-selling game around the world, the addition of these young players will give many fans an introduction to young hockey players on the verge of being drafted into the NHL. With the NHL series already featuring teams from the NHL, the AHL and several European teams, the incorporation of the Canadian juniors further adds to the play value of NHL 11. The realistic gameplay along with the many modes of play will bring gamers coming back for more.
